Nats New Stadium
When the lady took a nap, Dad ventured down to Nationals Stadium to take a few pictures w/ the new camera..
(Note that I accidentally had the super-up-close auto setting on which is normally used to take close-ups of flowers, so these could probably a bit crisper if I knew what I was doing.)
Wearing my Sunday dress with Mom (and with my "dot" shoes)
Cute picture, huh? It only took about 25 attempts to get a decent one. Here are the other "takes". Lesson: don't try to take pictures right before lunch.

Hat Head
We took Addie to Gravely Point on Saturday to watch the planes take off and play around with our new Nikon D60. Having picked out her own attire, Addie was highly uncoordinated: pink polka dot shoes, green stripes on her shirt, and a Carolina blue hat that she got from Hashie and John. She had fun, so we did too.

Our Peeps
We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to see Doug and Rachel this weekend and to share some good times. The kite festival was lovely. Also, we got to hang with Mark, Julie, Elise, and Evan. Here are E&E getting pumped for the Heels!
P.S. Here is where Dr. Gka-Gka is going to work, effective Monday. Congrats!
