Addie's Sunday afternoon birthday party (rough and uncut; we're tired over here! more later). Thanks to all who made this a very special day of celebration for Addie and for us.

Happy Birthday, Addie!

Addie is two today. We will celebrate later in the weekend. So far today, Addie woke up late, got to go to [Harris] "Teeter" with Mommy, and ran through some puddles. Pizza for lunch and an episode of Backyardigans rounded out with a nap makes for a pretty fun day!

Finally a picture without food... Though the title of the book is "Little Pea." John and Addie are good friends and though there's no evidence of her sweet tooth, we had all just returned from getting ice cream together. Now every time we drive past Baskin Robbins, Addie says "He-heem!"

As you can see from Addie's attire, Dad was in charge tonight. Lob went to hang out with her friend Jill, so Dad and Addie had a good time hanging out. Hashie and John came over for a visit. Problem is, Addie didn't want to go to bed, and when she did, she kept asking, "Mommy? Mommy?".

When the lady took a nap, Dad ventured down to Nationals Stadium to take a few pictures w/ the new camera..

(Note that I accidentally had the super-up-close auto setting on which is normally used to take close-ups of flowers, so these could probably a bit crisper if I knew what I was doing.)
